We also had another Doctors appt. today. I am currently 31 weeks and 4 days and still measuring on target. Alexander's heartbeat is still strong and still music to my ears. We did have the conversation about inducing. While I would welcome the opportunity to carry Alexander forever the reality is the longer his space is compromised the greater the risk of him dying in utero due to cord compression. Finding a safe and healthy balance between carrying him as long as possible and getting him out in time is a challenge for all. As it stands now we will meet with the Perinatologist on July 9th to check on Alexander's space and comfort. Tenatively, our Peri feels inducing about 5 weeks early would be best. I support that because if it be God"s will I would love to meet my son alive. I"d give anything for that. Based on that we will possibly meet our beautiful Angel sometime at the end of July.
I also received a special package today from Sufficient Grace Ministries - the most perfect memory book for Alex designed for circumstances like ours AND the most beautiful burial gown with matching braclets for him and I. I will have to take a picture and post it. It was beyond emotional for me but ........ they are both perfect. I love them and couldn't be more thankful!
Well, today was a busy day but a wonderful one.
Be Blessed,
Angelle
